Denim is tradition and innovation, heritage and uncompromising street style. What’s not to love? Is indigo your favourite colour too? Make sure you make it to the capital on 7-10 May!

Amsterdam Denim Days brings together the national and international denim community in the city with the highest concentration of denim brands. The House of Denim initiative in collaboration with Modefabriek (Blueprint), HTNK Fashion recruitment & consultancy and the American Kingpins Show was very enthusiastically received by the whole industry. The result is highly diverse content and an interesting show in the Zuiveringshal venue on the grounds of the Westergasfabriek, as well as in various denim hotspots downtown, for all denim freaks, from makers to fans.

A programme preview:

Professionals and public at large
Amsterdam Denim Days opens with the Kingpins Show, an international denim sourcing trade show enjoying cult status, held on 7 and 8 May. Kingpins is held twice a year in New York, Los Angeles and Hong Kong, and will now be visiting Amsterdam for the first time. This industry-only event attracts the cutting edge in international denim. These highly specialised professionals will be staying in Amsterdam for two more days after Kingpins to attend the Blueprint event, which is open to the public, and the seminar programme on innovation taking place on 9 and 10 May.

Blueprint, the ‘Amsterdam Denim Days edition’, will be held on 9 and 10 May in the Zuiveringshal venue on the grounds of the Westergasfabriek, with spin-offs taking place in downtown Amsterdam. Blueprint is known amongst denim professionals as the exclusive fashion-forward denim platform at Modefabriek. During the Amsterdam Denim Days, Blueprint will not be available exclusively for pros; for the first time, the participating brands and initiatives will be open to all denim addicts.
