As well as the array of forward fashion brands to come and discover, MINT also offers a packed programme of workshops, launch parties and more.

WellMade sessions – at 12pm and 3pm each day, the Fair Wear Foundation will be holding a 45 minute minute interactive session on improving working conditions for all workers (from buyers to designers) at European fashion brands. This workshop will draw on familiar examples to show the consequences that your decisions have on the people who make our collections, helping you to take concrete steps to improve things.

Dear Fashion Diary is an illustrated DIY book full of fashion tasks. At MINT they will be displaying 9 tips and tricks to make retail concepts more creative and more sustainable. Co-author Laura de Jong will also be giving an inspiring 15 minute update each day at 2pm: how do you tell the story behind your collection and seduce the customer?

Päälä live silkscreening – Päälä, the screen printing workshop, will be open to guests between 12pm and 5pm on both days. Take a cotton item with you, like a t-shirt or a bag, and ask this young Dutch brand to print one of their poetic illustrations onto it in sustainable textile ink.

Lancering OATies – Netherlands-based OAT will on Monday at 1pm (with a special installation and surprise) be launching the world’s first completely biodegradable and non-toxic baby shoes at MINT: OATies. As soon as baby grows out of a pair of OATies they can be buried in the ground, as their degradable flax, hemp and cotton have been filled with Pinus Pinea seeds. So your first pair of shoes can grow into a tree!

Lancering Fashion Furniture Design – Another incredibly innovative concept that MINT is launching at this edition is Fashion Furniture Design: furniture and fashion rolled into one, partly long-lasting, partly as changeable as the clothes in our wardrobe… If you are curious to see how it looks, see you at MINT.

Live illustrating: Alljan for ARMEDANGELS
Renowned artist and illustrator Alljan Moehamad will on Sunday morning live draw a new design for ARMEDANGELS. Come and witness his creative process, and be the first to see a fresh ARMEDANGELS print for their upcoming collection. Also, a new tote bag will be launched, with another exclusive design by Alljan. Get your hands on a signed collector’s item, as he puts his autograph on them especially for you.
