Freeman T. Porter // SS 14 collectie
Freeman T. PORTER from Saint Louis (Missouri), a young man with meaningful given names, during World War II came to Europe as part of the American army and fell in love with a young German woman. They’ve got a son together, who decades later raised a monument for his father: 1993, the American-German designer named his new streetwear collection FREEMAN T. PORTER. The collections of the brand are inspired from the spirit of countless generations of young Americans and the three main themes military, workwear and college.
The FREEMAN T.PORTER Spring I Summer 2014 collection is inspired from the variety of the African continent, combines these impressions with the classic Military look of the brand and creates with it a total look of dressed up and dressed down styles for each day. The key pieces in the men’s wear are pieces in white bull denim, hard washed safari jackets and known styles of the vintage workwear. The highlight in the women’s wear based on vintage styles of the men’s line, combined with feminine materials, ethnic prints, graphic prints, elegant blazer and safari dresses with dirty effect.
