The message: get inspired to change and make sure you’re futureproof. Sarah Johnson from the London forecasting agency Prote.in gave a stimulating presentation on the far-reaching influence of ‘early adopters’ on both brands and retail. This influence has only increased now that everyone has access to the hottest information, thanks to the Internet and social media in particular. “It’s about being responsive and reactive to your actual consumers,” she emphasises. “To be able to stay on top you have to get into the depths of their changing behaviours, desires and expectations.”
