In SPOTLIGHT, we take a closer look at shops, their brands and buying behaviour. This week: KOKO, Amsterdam

Customer description: We get a variety of customers from the age of 30 till 50. We describe our customer as an independent, sophisticated woman.


What do you do ‘extra’ in (difficult) times like these? We organise several events in our store. These events always have a theme, for example last fashion week we organised a fashion show in our store. When we sign a new label we celebrate this with an event. From time to time we also organise small concerts given by up and coming bands in our store. We love to support young talent.


How do you compose a collection? We buy our collection on good sense. All labels must be  consistent with the look and feel of KOKO. We love brands with a story, a great fitting or beautiful prints. Our collection consists of Dutch, Swedish and Finnish brands.
