Since its origin in 1957 North Sails has been by far the most innovative brand in sailmaking. Thanks to the outstanding skills of the sailors and the sailmakers who have been working inside North Sails throughout history, the brand has always been able to combine passion, technology and innovation, resulting in unbeatable products.

Due to the recent merger of all North Sails related companies, including Tomasoni (the former clothing license holder), a massive opportunity has arisen: To operate again as one brand.

North Sails is now able to utilize its super strong brand values of performance, technology and innovation over the entire width of the company.

North Sails Apparel new CEO Eric Bijlsma (former CEO and owner Scotch&Soda) illustrates this opportunity:

These passions and skills are what characterizes the launch of our new apparel lines at the Pitti Uomo in January 2015.”

After months of hard work by a dedicated collective of sailors, sail makers, fashion designers and product developers, sharing the same passion: Making highly innovative products. North Sails is proud to announce the launch of 3 brand new apparel lines: North Sails Black, North Sails Deep Blue and North Sails Ocean Blue.

With these 3 lines North Sails can serve virtually every male customer between 16 and 80.

Black being the top line, sold at a small selection of the world most exclusive fashion stores. A masculine, clean, but not minimalist line, bringing nautical elements into an urban landscape.

Deep Blue A preppy, sailing inspired line. Bringing more traditional menswear styles. Using North Sails technology to make both innovative and long lasting items.

Ocean Blue will be the rebellious line. The line that clearly follows it’s own path. Washed and salted styles, inspiration from the early surfing scene. Always with a touch of irony.

Next to these 3 lines, we will bring a range of iconic, non-seasonal items. Each individual icon is simply essential in every man’s wardrobe. The Icons will carry their own version of the logo, however they cannot be specified as a line. They are all individual: Icons

North Sails will launch these new lines for Autumn/ Winter 2015 at Modefabriek, at the STUDIO platform.
