The Swedish Model and Erik & Emilia at Modefabriek

The Swedish Model is a luxury bag collection for men and women, which embodies the style and spirit of its Swedish founder Carl Hederoth. Perceiving a void in the market for a high end, sophisticated Swedish bag brand at an accessible price point, he brought together an international team of creative individuals. The designs are so stunning, they make heads turn. Leathers are chosen from well-known tanneries in Italy and Spain and all metalwork, like buckles, handles and attachments are hand crafted. TSM is sold at a number of selected stores throughout Europe, the United States and Japan.

Erik & Emilia

Erik and Emilia are a designer duo, living and working together in Swedish Lapland. Their spectacles and sunglasses brand Erik & Emilia is hugely popular in Sweden as the brand brings affordable progressive, yet wearable spectacles to men and women, that are made of the best quality possible. The introduction in Benelux of Erik & Emilia last year was a big success too, as the styles by Erik & Emilia are more modern than what was yet to be found in Benelux. The glasses are both sold in fashion stores as well as opticiens, which is a new concept.

Erik and Emilia on their philosophy and inspiration:
”Our inspiration comes partly from the Swedish fashion arena when we are in the process of making our spectacles. The stylishness that is deeply rooted in Swedish design is something that we want to recreate into the area which spectacles are in, we want to turn spectacles into an accessory that can be worn by everybody every day. Throughout the Nordic culture and our design we aim to map out Swedish Lapland”.
