The summer edition of Modefabriek will take place on Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 July 2019. As a consequence, Modefabriek is not anymore partially in the weekend.

On Friday, October 26th, during the Dutch Design week, the book Dutch Posters 1997-2017 was presented. 100 posters from the book by Anthon Beeke had been selected, amongst which the Modefabriek 2010 poster.

"Per keer kiest hij een mannen kledingstuk als thema, deze keer was dat dus de rok. ‘Een kledingstuk dat jarenlang tot het laatste taboe van de mannenmode werd gere- kend, maar nu dankzij de gender- neutraliteitsdiscussie hip is.’"
