Modefabriek – the largest fashion trade event in the Benelux ­– is preparing for a new edition: the first after a lengthy lockdown of more than a year. The event hits RAI Amsterdam on 11 + 12 July 2021. For 25 years and counting, Modefabriek has been the definitive business hotspot for the fashion community. Following an exceptional period, this summer, it’s once again time to meet and inspire each other. The upcoming event will see Modefabriek present an exciting array of fashion brands, as well as introducing new activations relevant to fashion professionals.

Modefabriek’s decision to organise the event at the RAI was certainly no accident: it’s currently the go-to location for coronavirus-proof trade shows. With the well-being of our exhibitors and visitors in mind, we’re collaborating with the RAI team to create a safe and professional event. Modefabriek will present concrete plans in the coming months, leading up to the event.



As a leading fashion fair, sustainability has always been high on the agenda. With the MINT platform, Modefabriek was a pioneering fair in a – back then – less sustainable fashion world. The event has welcomed numerous sustainable brands. But technology and innovation have certainly not lingered, which is why Modefabriek is introducing a new area in collaboration with PARO STORE – a webstore focusing on Good Design

The great strength of the fashion world is to look to the future and to anticipate everything happening around the world. In a time in which we crave connection, all eyes are also on the fashion world. And it will therefore come as no surprise that Modefabriek is keen to connect; offering a warm welcome to retailers, buyers, brands, new talent, stylists – in fact, all fashion professionals.

Modefabriek is also active online, with a platform that connects the fashion industry and boosts business. is home to an enormous range of relevant content: the latest fashion news, brand info, jobs, and everything else that keeps our fashion hearts beating. With endless content and community possibilities, it’s invaluable to us all. The online platform complements the physical event, which Modefabriek organises twice a year in Amsterdam.
