New curated fashion platform launching in February 2027
Amsterdam, August 2026 – Modefabriek B.V. is embarking on a new adventure in Frankfurt in February 2027. Building on more than thirty years of experience connecting fashion brands and retailers, the organisation is developing a new concept for commercial fashion brands from the Netherlands, Germany and across Europe.
The reason is simple: Modefabriek B.V. sees an opportunity in Germany for a new B2B event where brands and retailers can meet in a relevant and meaningful environment, connect with the right people and do business. The aim is to provide brands with a strong platform in the German market and connect them with retailers who genuinely match their collections and positioning.
The first edition will take place at Fredenhagen, in the Frankfurt am Main region. The venue perfectly suits the more intimate and personal approach that Modefabriek B.V. has in mind.
The new initiative will not be an international edition of Modefabriek, nor a copy of an existing trade fair. Instead, it will have its own identity, concept and name.
The concept is intentionally curated, with a focus on commercial fashion brands that have a clear position in the market. This approach is designed to create a visitor group that is highly relevant to the participating brands.
The ambition is to create a new meeting place in Germany where brands can present their collections, retailers can discover new brands, and both parties can connect, engage in meaningful conversations and do business.
The platform will focus on womenswear and menswear, footwear and accessories, with a carefully selected mix based on the target audience and defined retailer profiles.
“Our main goal is to create a strong platform for brands looking to enter or expand in the German market, while giving German retailers access to new and relevant brands. The right match is at the heart of what we are doing. We don’t need to become the biggest. We want to make sure that the brands participating meet the retailers who are the right fit for them.” Rick van Rijthoven, CEO Modefabriek B.V.
Presentations at the End of August
At the end of August, Modefabriek B.V. will host presentations in Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Frankfurt for brands interested in participating in the first edition.
During these meetings, the concept will be presented in more detail, including the target audience, selected retailer profiles and participation opportunities. Modefabriek B.V. will also explain how it intends to build meaningful connections between brands and German retailers.
There will, of course, also be an opportunity to meet the team and ask questions about the plans.
The number of available spaces at Fredenhagen is limited. Brands interested in participating are therefore encouraged to get in touch in good time.
The name of the new platform, the first participating brands and further programme details will be announced shortly.
