Modefabriek zomer 2026: waar mode, inspiratie en beleving samenkomen

On 5 and 6 July, Modefabriek returns to TAETS Art & Event Park at the Hembrugterrein in Zaandam. Following a successful first edition at this unique industrial waterfront location, Modefabriek continues to build on a concept where fashion, inspiration and experience come together.

This edition introduces a refreshed layout, with different buildings positioned closer together. The result is a natural route that effortlessly guides visitors past all participating brands, while the vibrant outdoor area forms the connecting heart of the event. With food trucks, music, lounge areas and a variety of activations, the trade show takes on a relaxed festival atmosphere that encourages discovery, connection and inspiration.

From established names to new discoveries

As always, Modefabriek brings together an inspiring mix of brands. From established names to new discoveries, and from international players to homegrown Dutch labels. Visitors gain a clear overview of what is happening across the fashion landscape and discover the collections, trends and stories that will shape the season ahead.

The Responsible Route adds an extra layer of inspiration. This curated route highlights brands that are actively working to reduce their impact and demonstrates how responsibility is becoming an increasingly important part of the fashion industry. Participating brands include Kings of Indigo, O My Bag, Indi & Cold and Mos Mosh.

More than a trade show

Modefabriek offers more than a showcase of new collections. Across the venue, brands create unique presentations, collaborations and meeting spaces designed to inspire and connect.

PENN&INK N.Y, for example, presents a new collection in Pand 41, while JC Sophie welcomes visitors to its own brasserie in centrally located Pand 43. In the Event Garden, pop-up shops, showrooms and a range of exhibitor activations come together to create a lively meeting place where inspiration, networking and discovery go hand in hand.

Visitors can also enjoy a variety of special activations. Take a ride on Summum’s Ferris wheel, explore the latest collection from 10DAYS, enjoy a freshly made Dutch stroopwafel at Mexx, or browse a carefully curated selection of fashion, art and photography books at The American Book Center. EK Fashion, meanwhile, offers the perfect spot to grab a coffee and catch up with industry peers.
