In the run-up to Modefabriek’s next edition, a few exhibitors reveal their latest news and plans for the upcoming edition of the fair. Another-Label is launching a capsule collection with Mud Jeans for the second time next winter.
What is your news for winter 2024-2025?
Lotte Lampe, founder and director of Another-Label: “Starting with the spring-summer 2024 collection, we will launch a denim capsule in collaboration with Mud Jeans. This is the perfect deepening of our collection and a translation of our DNA into denim items. We have translated our ultimate favourite Another-pieces into the perfect Another-denim items, which will be produced completely sustainably in collaboration with Mud jeans. The denim capsule will keep coming back in our collections and thus also for winter 2024-2025. The first collection will go live in early 2024 with none other than Dutch top model Vera van Erp.”
The ultimate woman in 2024 according to Another-Label?
“The ultimate woman anno 2024 is authentic, environmentally conscious and an inspiration to many. These traits will be translated into her clothing style and choice. Sustainability will play an important role in fashion. The ultimate woman will strive for garments made from eco-friendly materials. Less is more will be the mantra, with a preference for simple, timeless designs that are versatile enough to wear in different situations. On the other hand, the ultimate woman will also strive to express her individuality and personal style. She will love to add eye-catching accessories, patterns and colour accents to her outfits to highlight her unique personality.”
What are you working on in the field of sustainability?
“Sustainability plays a role in every collection. For instance, we strive to use a higher percentage of sustainable materials in every collection. But also to be increasingly conscious about the use of packaging materials and to reduce plastic and other waste. Another-Label is also known for its collaborations and here too, sustainability is key. For the denim capsule, for example, we consciously chose to work with Mud Jeans: a progressive sustainable denim brand.”
What are you going to show off at the upcoming edition of Modefabriek?
“In the coming edition we will show even more of Another-Label with a larger stand. Our personal approach and accessibility are always central to this. We believe it is important to invest a lot of time and sincere attention in the entrepreneur behind our customer and the retail employee. We are in this together, and we want to continue to do so in 2024.”
Who do you hope to meet at Modefabriek?
“Of course, we hope to see our existing enthusiastic customers again every edition of the fair, but also to meet new retailers. We have seen in recent fairs that there is more traffic from both Germany and Belgium. The next fair will therefore have an extra focus on the German and Belgian markets, on top of the Dutch market.”
