Mads Nørgaard - Copenhagen is one of the best known brands in Scandinavia. “It is great to see how they continue to think new designs around their qualitative basics, with great fits and fluid fabrics,” says Jan Everard Wiggelinkhuizen, owner of Brand & PR Agency Wig Anthology that represents Mads Nørgaard Copenhagen in the Benelux.

'In the world of Mads Norgaard-Copenhagen we are deeply in love with fashion and the changing of the times - and at the same time we also think that the western world is moving too fast at times. So- in order to slow things down a little, we are also in love with things that do not change, as long as they are fashionable. Thus, we take base in a core of fashionable classics and build our collections around that core; for women, men and children. Our designs aim to make girls more sexy and the guys more tough - always from a modernistic point of view. 'Finally, I believe that fashion is meant to support you and free you, not overrule or control you. What you wear should support you in the ways and beliefs,' says designer Mads Nørgaard.

Jan Everard Wiggelinkhuizen has fond memories of the early days, 'when MODE was still going on.. Shows, stands, flowers and people were exciting! The best edition was in an old hangar with rain inside and oil on the floor. With a wide range of visitors from all over the world, Icelandic buyers and fancy creative stands. Not only bought turnover with VIP TV-people and influencers, but people who have fashion in their blood....'
